Ben Thanh investment construction and real estate joint stock company (CORESCO) with the name before District 1 house business Company was founded according to Decision No 184/QĐ-UB on October 05th 1993 of People’s committee of Ho Chi Minh City, with main functions namely house business, housing and public works construction, design, interior decoration and building material trade. In 1997, with transferring function of state-ownership house management to District 1 People’s committee, Company became business unit directly under Ben Thanh Corporation. In 2000, Company was renamed House business and construction Company with transaction name CORESCO
In 2004, Company operated officially under form of Joint Stock Company as from October 01st 2004 in accordance with Decision No 580/QĐ-UB on February 12th 2004 of People’s committee of Ho Chi Minh City, with head office located in 104 Cong Quynh, Pham Ngu Lao ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city, and charter capital 13 billion dong. In 2007, Company issued additional shares to public to increase charter capital up to 26 billion dong and moved its head office to No 73 Nguyen Thai Binh, District 1 up to now. In 2011, Company raised its charter capital up to 39 billion dong
However, with determination and enthusiasm of Board of management and active, qualified and experienced staff, Company shows gradually it strength, capacity and activeness in business with great value investment projects and works such as: 300 Ben Chuong Duong housing area with total surface of 6.175 m2 concluding 4 blocks and 11 duplex apartments, 212 Nguyen Trai apartment building with surface of 6.680 m2 consisting of 3 blocks, 207 Bui Vien apartment building with surface of 2.073 m2 composing 2 blocks with 96 apartments, big workshops in industrial zones such as Binh Chieu, Binh Chuan…; and recently residential zone investment and construction projects in District 2
